Authentic Jambalaya Recipe Slow Cooker

Transfer to the slow cooker.

Now it’s time to add the vegetables. Add the bell peppers, onion, celery, garlic, and diced tomatoes to the slow cooker. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, oregano, thyme, and cayenne pepper. Finally, add the long-grain white rice and stir everything together.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6 hours, or until the rice is cooked through. Serve with hot sauce, if desired.
